William Howard Jetton was graduated from Davidson College in 1930. He began working at Piedmont Bank and Trust Company in Davidson, NC in 1924 while still a high school student. Except for the period 1934 to 1937, Jetton was affiliated with Piedmont Bank and Trust until 1980 when he was elected director emeritus and chairman emeritus. He died in 1985.
